Land price per 3.3㎡ is 1.2839 billion KRW
Reportedly purchased with 'full cash payment'
Broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk purchased land in Nonhyeon-dong worth approximately 11.6 billion KRW in cash.
According to the real estate industry on the 12th, Yoo Jae-suk acquired land located in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The land area is 298.5㎡ (90.3 pyeong) and is situated in a Type 1 General Residential Area. The price per pyeong (3.3㎡) is 128.39 million KRW.

Originally, there was a five-story building on the land, but it was recently demolished and the site has been cleared as vacant land (land without buildings) for new construction. The industry evaluated that the location is not only adjacent to Yoo Jae-suk’s agency, Antenna Entertainment, but also has a very high demand for offices such as entertainment and startups.
It is understood that Yoo Jae-suk paid the full purchase price of 11.6 billion KRW in cash without any loans. The industry expects that Yoo Jae-suk will build a building on the vacant land he purchased.
Meanwhile, Yoo Jae-suk has stated that he currently lives in a jeonse lease at Hyundai Apartment in Apgujeong, Gangnam-gu, and has shown little interest in real estate investment. In fact, he once said on a broadcast he hosts, "I invest a lot, but I’m not good at real estate."
The Hyundai Apartment complex in Apgujeong where Yoo Jae-suk has lived for 13 years was completed in 1976 and consists of 13 buildings with a total of 960 households, with exclusive areas ranging from 131 to 198㎡. Yoo Jae-suk’s residence is known to be 196㎡ with 5 rooms and 2 bathrooms.

Yoo Jae-suk has maintained the title of "National MC" for a long time and has held the top position. Because he has consistently hosted programs, some have claimed that "Yoo Jae-suk’s fortune is 2 trillion KRW."
In response, Yoo Jae-suk said on the YouTube channel "Pinggego" last July, "I feel good," adding, "Even if I don’t actually have 2 trillion KRW, it’s nice to be said so. If I had 2 trillion KRW, I could acquire a Premier League club."
However, Yoo Jae-suk has previously stated that he invests in stocks regarding asset management. After moving to Antenna, he invested 3 billion KRW and became the third largest shareholder.
Later, Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Hee-yeol jointly acquired more than 40% of Antenna’s shares from Kakao Entertainment, becoming the second and third largest shareholders respectively. Yoo Hee-yeol holds 21.3% (worth approximately 3.2 billion KRW at the time), and Yoo Jae-suk holds 20.7%. This has drawn attention to the background of Yoo Jae-suk’s real estate purchase.
