Gwangju Nam-gu, Recruiting Exhibition Artists for Bitgoeul Craft Creation Village Bitgyeol

Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is publicly recruiting exhibition artists for Gallery Bitgyeol to provide visitors of Bitgoeul Craft Creative Village with opportunities to view works in various fields and to promote artists' creative activities.

According to Nam-gu on the 11th, the recruitment of exhibition artists for Gallery Bitgyeol at Bitgoeul Craft Creative Village will be held until the 18th.

Gallery Bitgyeol is an exhibition space located within Bitgoeul Craft Creative Village, with an area of 143㎥, where various crafts as well as two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and mixed media artworks can be displayed.

Artists selected through the open recruitment will be given the opportunity to exhibit their works for 12 days between March 1 and December 31 of next year, with no rental fee.

However, the exhibition period will be decided by the Bitgoeul Craft Creative Village Operating Committee, considering issues such as overlapping preferred dates of selected artists, and the confirmed period will be based on 12 days from Wednesday to the following Sunday.

Additionally, installation and dismantling of the works must be completed by Tuesday, the day before the exhibition starts, and Monday, the day after it ends.

Applicants must be individuals or groups active in the fields of two-dimensional, three-dimensional, or mixed media art, with preference given to individuals or groups active in the craft field.

Application forms can be downloaded from the public notice section on the Nam-gu Office website, including the rental application form and artist/group introduction file, and submitted by visiting the Bitgoeul Craft Creative Village office, by mail, or via the email of the person in charge.
