The ‘Green Umbrella Santa Expedition’ is a year-end social contribution campaign by the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, where sponsors become Santas to fulfill the wishes of children from underprivileged backgrounds.

The donated funds are used in all areas necessary for the children, including housing costs, heating expenses, dining out, and Christmas gifts.

Bright Eye Clinic 21 participates annually in the Santa Expedition to help children from low-income families in the Gwangju area have a warm year-end.

Chief Director Kim Deok-bae said, “I am glad to be able to give a small gift to children in blind spots during the cold year-end and New Year season,” and added, “We plan to continue our interest and support so that our children can grow up bright and healthy.”

Meanwhile, Bright Eye Clinic 21 contributes to the enhancement of local child welfare by joining the Green Noble Club, a group of major donors to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation. It is also actively leading neighborly love practices such as supporting pediatric strabismus and cataract surgeries for vulnerable groups, donating to the infant temporary shelter Love Fund, and providing medical volunteer services for local residents.
