Former Democratic Party leader Lee Nak-yeon criticized by Democratic Party Supreme Council member Go Min-jung for hinting at the formation of a new party while continuously opposing the 'Lee Jae-myung regime.'
On the 11th, Go, on her social media, said to Lee, "It only looks like you are desperately trying to cause defeat in the general election."
She added, "Lee Nak-yeon should withdraw his intention to form a new party. When asked by a reporter whether the new party formation has become full-fledged, Lee did not deny it, saying, 'Someone naturally has to prepare. I will make a decision without delay.' Even if others don’t know, senior figures who have led the party for decades should protect it from being uprooted by strong storms. It is hard to believe that the words come from someone who has been the party leader."
Go further criticized, "The person who should persuade others that dividing the party is unacceptable in any case is instead plunging the party into confusion. The place where Lee Nak-yeon should be is within the Democratic Party. The moment he leaves his rightful position, the ranks will be disrupted, and the fight will be a lost cause."
