Stole Vehicles and Motorcycles 20 Times
Hit Police Officer's Car Who Responded to Report
Teenagers who were driving stolen vehicles without a license were caught by the police again immediately after being released following the dismissal of their arrest warrants for the same crime.
Jeju Dongbu Police Station announced on the 11th that they have requested arrest warrants for two suspects: A (16), a first-year high school student, and B (14), a second-year middle school student, on charges including special theft. They are also investigating C (14), a second-year middle school student, who has been booked on the same charges.

A and the others are accused of stealing four cars and nine motorcycles a total of 20 times from October 25 to the 9th of this month and driving them without a license. The police believe they conspired to steal vehicles while they were runaway youths.
Additionally, on the 9th at around 6 p.m., A and B stole a car parked in a residential area in Doryeon-dong, Jeju City, and while driving it, they hit two pursuing police officers with the vehicle after a report was made.
At the time, driver A drove the car for about three hours and attempted to escape by reversing the vehicle with the doors locked when a patrol car blocked his way in an alley in Geonip-dong, Jeju City. During this process, he hit two police officers. Fortunately, the two officers hit by the car were not seriously injured.
A was arrested on the spot, and B and C, who fled, were caught the next day in downtown Jeju.
Previously, the police had applied for an arrest warrant for A on November 30, but it was dismissed.
The police stated, "We will thoroughly investigate any additional crimes committed by the suspects," and added, "We will continue to take strict measures against habitual and malicious juvenile offenders."
