BNK Gyeongnam Bank Changes Conditions for Preferential Interest Rates on ‘BNK Withus Free Savings’

BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 11th that it is selling the ‘BNK With-Us (With-Us) Free Savings’ with changed preferential interest rate conditions.

‘BNK With-Us Savings Account’ Preferential Interest Rate Provision Conditions Changed.

The BNK With-Us Free Savings offers a maximum preferential interest rate of 2.50% when all conditions are met, including ▲new customers (0.50%P) ▲joint subscription (1.50%P) ▲ESG practice [donation, volunteering, blood donation, etc.] (0.50%P).

With this change, the criteria for meeting the preferential interest rate condition for ESG practice [donation, volunteering, blood donation, etc.] have been partially relaxed.

Previously, only ESG activities conducted within 6 months of the product subscription date were recognized, but with the condition change, activities conducted up to the maturity date are now recognized.

Also, previously, ESG activity certification documents had to be submitted at the time of product subscription, but now preferential interest rates can be received as long as the documents are submitted by the day before the maturity date.

Shin Tae-su, Vice President of the Customer Support Headquarters, said, “We have partially relaxed the criteria for meeting the preferential interest rate conditions in hopes that customers who subscribe to BNK With-Us Free Savings will participate more in ESG activities. BNK With-Us Free Savings is an ESG financial product launched last August to practice win-win finance. We hope many customers subscribe with their family, lovers, and friends and practice various ESG activities to receive more preferential interest rates.”

The BNK With-Us Free Savings offers the highest annual interest rates (before tax) of 5.00% (less than 6 months), 5.25% (less than 12 months), 5.55% (less than 24 months), 5.65% (less than 36 months), and 5.75% (36 months) when all conditions are met during the subscription period.

The subscription amount ranges from 10,000 KRW to 1,000,000 KRW per month, and the subscription period can be set in monthly units from 1 month to 36 months.

Subscriptions are available at all BNK Gyeongnam Bank branches, mobile banking, internet banking, and the customer center.
