37 Projects Including Income Increase, Odor Improvement, and Disease Prevention

Hwaseong City, Gyeonggi Province, will accept unified applications for the '2024 Livestock Sector Support Project' from the 11th to the 27th.

The projects open for unified application this time aim to increase the income of livestock farms, improve livestock odor, and prevent animal diseases. By sector, there are 15 projects to strengthen the competitiveness of livestock industries such as Korean beef (Hanwoo), Korean pork (Handon), dairy farming, and poultry farming; 8 projects for establishing eco-friendly livestock infrastructure and improving livestock housing environments; 3 projects to expand distribution channels for safe livestock products; 6 projects for prevention and management of animal infectious diseases; and 5 projects for horse industry development, totaling 37 projects worth 7.3 billion KRW.


Applicants must be farms licensed (registered) for livestock farming, and after confirming eligibility and requirements according to each project guideline, they can submit applications to the Dongbu and Dongtan branch offices or the Eup/Myeon administrative welfare centers.


The city plans to review the feasibility of each applicant according to the project guidelines and finalize support through the Hwaseong City Local Subsidy Deliberation Committee, aiming to implement the support projects within the year.
