Hampyeong-gun Holds Inauguration Ceremony for 3rd Youth Policy Council

Expectations for Discovering Youth Policies and Revitalizing Communication Among Local Youths

On the 8th, Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do, held the inauguration ceremony of the 3rd Hampyeong-gun Youth Policy Council to expand opportunities for youth participation in county administration and to discover and propose youth policies, the county announced on the 11th.

The Hampyeong-gun Youth Policy Council has been organized since 2019 to expand opportunities for youth policy participation and to activate communication.

The 3rd term consists of 28 youths, a 50% increase compared to the 1st term.

The appointed members on this day will be active for two years until 2025, proposing and discovering various youth-related policies in areas such as job creation, welfare, culture, and education, and participating in various youth activities.

County Governor Lee Sang-ik said, “We will listen carefully to the opinions of the Youth Policy Council members and actively accept them to reflect in county administration so that the youth, who will be the cornerstone of Hampyeong’s future, can settle and live well in Hampyeong.”
