AfreecaTV to Hold 'Music Audition' for Virtual BJs

Recruitment of Participants Until the 31st of This Month

AfreecaTV announced on the 11th that it will hold a music competition called ‘V-ALL-Stars’ for virtual BJ (one-person media hosts).

This event is being held in collaboration with ShopFanPic, a virtual goods mall and multi-channel network (MCN) company. While the first round was held on Twitch and YouTube, from the second round onward it will be hosted on AfreecaTV’s main platform.

The company gathers virtual BJs interested in music to form small teams and assigns music-related missions. Winners will receive prize money as well as benefits such as music track and merchandise production. Additionally, over 400 ShopFanPic partners and MCN creators will provide services and solutions to help them advance into AfreecaTV broadcasting.

AfreecaTV expects this to lead to a full-scale influx of new virtual BJs in the future.

Applications for the audition can be submitted through the AfreecaTV website until the 31st of this month. Further details will be announced through the official broadcast channel later.
