First, the Eungbong 1 Housing Reconstruction Maintenance Project is being promoted in the area of 193-162, Eungbong-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, with a site area of approximately 39,465㎡. Through this project, 15 buildings ranging from 5 basement floors to 15 above-ground floors, 525 households, and auxiliary welfare facilities will be constructed. The project cost is approximately 260 billion KRW.
The project site secures a view of the south side of the Han River and allows walking access to the Han River, Jungnangcheon Stream, Seoul Forest, and Eungbongsan. Eungbong Elementary School and Gwanghui Middle School are located right in front of the complex, and nearby there are large supermarkets and Hanyang University Hospital, providing excellent living conditions.
Eungbong Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line subway is adjacent, and at Wangsimni Station, just one stop away, you can access Seoul Subway Lines 2 and 5, the Gyeongui-Jungang Line, and the Suin-Bundang Line, making transportation convenient.
Hyundai Construction partnered with UNStudio, a Dutch eco-friendly architectural firm known for landmark designs such as the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Germany and Apgujeong Galleria Department Store, to present a landmark design for Eungbong 1 District.
UNStudio visited the project site together with Hyundai Construction’s design team to consider a design suitable for Eungbong 1 District, applying an original and distinctive design that reflects the region’s characteristics and expresses beauty in the exterior design.
Hangaram Sekyung Apartment, completed in 1996, is located on a 40,655㎡ site at 158, Gwanyang-dong, Dongan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. It is a complex with 1 basement floor to 23 above-ground floors and 1,292 households. Through remodeling, it will be transformed into a complex with 4 basement floors to 27 above-ground floors and 1,439 households. The project cost is estimated at 480 billion KRW.
The complex is adjacent to Pyeongchon Station and Beomgye Station on Subway Line 4, and various infrastructures such as Anyang City Hall and Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital are located nearby, making living conditions convenient. Directly opposite the complex are Buan Elementary School and Burim Middle School, providing an excellent educational environment.
Hyundai Construction named the complex “Hillstate Pyeongchon Parkview” to emphasize the locational advantages of Hangaram Sekyung Apartment and plans to present a premium complex representing Pyeongchon with the best design and project conditions. Additionally, it will apply specialized designs that enhance the value of residential spaces with efficient floor plans reflecting the latest trends.
