The National Gwangju Science Museum will hold the third lecture in the Fascinating Biomedical Engineering Stories series on the 9th at the Sang-sang Hall in the main building.
This lecture will feature Professor Cho Hyung-jun from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, presenting on the topic "How Do Scientists Look Into the Brain?".
After earning a bachelor's degree in Physics from Seoul National University, Professor Cho obtained his Ph.D. in Engineering from M.I.T. in the United States and completed postdoctoral research at the Schlumberger Technology Center, among others.
Professor Cho researches the structure and function of brain microvasculature for magnetic resonance imaging, as well as the development and validation of imaging biomarkers for degenerative brain diseases.
More detailed information about the lecture can be found on the National Gwangju Science Museum website.
Jeon Tae-ho, Acting Director, said, "This year's final medical lecture will be an exciting talk that feels like exploring an unknown world through the story of a scientist studying the most mysterious and enigmatic organ in the human body, the brain."
