Kim Nam-guk: "President Yoon mobilizes busy chaebol heads for Busan Tteokbokki mukbang"

"Shouting Freedom While Displaying Images Typical of a Dictatorial Regime"

Independent lawmaker Kim Nam-guk criticized President Yoon Seok-yeol for visiting Busan International Market with business leaders, saying, "I hope they stop bothering the busy chaebol heads."

On the 8th, Kim said through his social media (SNS), "The day before yesterday, the chaebol heads were lined up for a 'tteokbokki mukbang' in Busan, and if they are mobilized again for next week's overseas trip, this is a kind of 'super gapjil' abuse of power."

He added, "I don't understand how they keep shouting 'freedom,' 'freedom,' and 'market economy,' yet scenes reminiscent of the dictatorship era of the 80s and 90s keep appearing."

Kim also said, "If you pick up fried food displayed in the market with the chopsticks you were eating with, you get scolded. I hope you will be careful next time you visit the market. I sincerely advise this, fearing the protocol team might not tell you."

Earlier, on the 6th, President Yoon visited Busan with business leaders including Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo. After attending the 'Busan Citizens' Dreams and Challenges Encouragement Meeting' held at the Busan Port International Exhibition and Convention Center in the morning, President Yoon moved to Ggangtong Market in Jung-gu, Busan, where he tasted tteokbokki and dumplings at a snack bar and listened to the sentiments of Busan citizens.
