Completion of Seoul's Largest Knowledge Industry Center 'Public Gasan'... Move-in Begins

The largest knowledge industry center in Seoul, ‘Public Gasan,’ is beginning to welcome tenants.

According to the construction industry on the 7th, Public Gasan, located on the site of the former Samsung C&T logistics center within the Seoul Digital Industrial Complex, completed construction on the 5th and has started tenant move-ins in earnest. Move-ins are expected to be completed around January.

Public Gasan has a total floor area of 258,868㎡ (approximately 78,000 pyeong) and a site area of 30,180㎡ (approximately 9,130 pyeong). The building consists of 5 basement floors and up to 28 floors above ground. It is the largest knowledge industry center in Seoul.

In particular, Public Gasan has created 12,537㎡ (approximately 3,792 pyeong) of green space in Gasan-dong, which is often described as a gray city due to its dense building forest, drawing significant attention even before tenants moved in.

This is thanks to the 6,060㎡ of publicly accessible area featuring abundant landscaping and diverse community facilities. Including rooftop gardens, terraced stairs inside office buildings, and alley gardens throughout commercial facilities, there are dozens of gardens in total.

The building comprises two office buildings (a total of 1,183 units), one residential building (a total of 567 units), and a commercial facility called ‘Public Mall’ (approximately 100 units) spanning 34,542㎡ (about 10,449 pyeong) that connects the three separate buildings, along with exhibition halls and lecture halls.

Public Mall, which spans four floors from basement level 2 to the 2nd floor above ground, is currently in discussions to host numerous famous food and beverage franchises, popular dining brands, and fashion edit shops. The exhibition hall is already preparing to display works by world-renowned artists. The commercial facilities, including Public Mall and the exhibition hall, are scheduled to open sequentially around May to June next year.

A Public Gasan representative said, “Following completion, tenants for the office and residential facilities, which saw competition rates as high as 72:1, are moving in continuously,” adding, “We will work hard to ensure that Public Gasan becomes a landmark in Seoul that not only nearby office workers and local residents but also people from other areas must visit at least once.”
