Galaxia Moneytree Signs MOU with Hana Securities for STO Business Collaboration

Galaxia Moneytree, a domestic STO (Security Token Offering) specialist company, announced on the 7th that it has signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Hana Securities to cooperate on the commercialization of token securities. Galaxia Moneytree plans to focus more on applying for innovative financial services related to STO in collaboration with Hana Securities.


The signing ceremony held at Hana Securities headquarters was attended by Shin Dong-hoon, CEO of Galaxia Moneytree, Lee Ju-sik, head of the STO business team, Choi Won-young, head of Hana Securities' Digital Business Division, and Kang Ki-beom, head of Hana Securities' Digital Asset Team.


Through this agreement, both companies plan to create opportunities to expand the token securities business by leveraging their infrastructure and capabilities. In particular, they will cooperate from product design to launch, public offering, and marketing to develop and successfully operate the issuance platform.


Shin Dong-hoon, CEO of Galaxia Moneytree, said, "Hana Securities is a partner that possesses the essential capabilities and know-how for promoting the STO business," adding, "We expect this partnership to accelerate our STO business."


Meanwhile, Hana Securities is developing a token securities issuance and distribution platform targeting the second half of next year. In addition, it is conducting various activities to create a business ecosystem, such as hosting seminars for the development of the token securities ecosystem. The seminar held on the 11th was attended by over 100 participants from about 60 institutions, including securities companies, accounting firms, investment firms, and companies holding underlying assets.


Galaxia Moneytree is actively promoting the token securities business by securing various underlying assets such as marine finance, aviation finance, solar-based renewable energy, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and participating in the establishment of an OTC brokerage JV (joint venture).
