Yoon Dong-han, Chairman of Kolmar, "Leaders Must Lead by Example and Create a Happy Workplace"

Lecture at 'Ubocheonri Sangsaeng Dream Academy'
Educational Program for Small and Medium Managers

"Leaders must lead by example, create their own culture, and autonomously establish the value of life to build a happy workplace on their own."


Yoon Dong-han, Chairman of Korea Kolmar Holdings, emphasized this to managerial-level employees participating in the talent education program "Ubo Cheonri (牛步千里) Win-Win Dream Academy," held on the 5th at Yeoju Academy for managers of small and medium-sized enterprises.

According to Korea Kolmar on the 7th, the Ubo Cheonri Win-Win Dream Academy is a program that provides an educational curriculum combining business, history, and humanities to employees of small and medium-sized enterprises lacking educational infrastructure.


Korea Kolmar operated the program for new employees of partner companies in April, and this time conducted a 1-night, 2-day training from the 4th for managerial-level employees. Customized courses were provided to develop job competencies such as performance management processes for effective task execution in managerial positions and communication leadership.


Chairman Yoon also gave a lecture on the philosophy of talent development he has upheld since the company's founding under the theme of "Organic Management." Organic Management is Korea Kolmar's management philosophy of discovering and nurturing employees' talents into human resources. In addition, a program combining history and humanities called "Sejong Daewangneung Trekking" was also conducted.


A Korea Kolmar official said, "This training was an opportunity to share leadership experiences among managers and cultivate organizational and performance management capabilities," adding, "We will continue to operate diverse and meaningful educational programs to achieve the ultimate goal of becoming a dream learning center that realizes coexistence and cooperation."
