Seongnam Eunhaeng-dong 5th Public Parking Lot Reopens After Retaining Wall Construction Completion

Seongnam-si Eunhaeng-dong 5th Public Parking Lot, recently completed retaining wall repairs

Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province recently completed the retaining wall improvement work at the 5th Public Parking Lot in Eunhaeng-dong, Jungwon-gu (around 1944 Eunhaeng-dong) and opened the parking lot to the public.

After restoring the retaining wall that was washed away by the heavy rain in August last year, Seongnam City conducted additional retaining wall improvement work this year due to the diagnosis that the adjacent slope was unstable.

Over the past two months, the city recently completed the retaining wall improvement work, including replacing poor soil with high-quality soil, compacting, and paving to ensure the safety of the slope.

A Seongnam City official stated, "Thanks to the cooperation of residents near the public parking lot, we were able to complete the construction in a short period," and added, "We will make every effort to ensure safe use through continuous operation and management of the public parking lot."
