Bukchangwon Nonghyup Delivers Warmth Through Love Kimchi Sharing Event

On the 6th, Bukchangwon Nonghyup in Gyeongnam held a Love Kimchi Sharing event to deliver kimchi to vulnerable groups and social welfare organizations in preparation for winter.

At Bukchangwon Nonghyup, 150 members of the Housewives University Alumni Association purchased napa cabbages produced by farmers to increase the income of cooperative members and volunteered to make kimchi.

The kimchi made was delivered by visiting vulnerable farms, elderly living alone, and social welfare facilities in Buk-myeon, including Changwon Women's House, Changwon Seongsimwon, Gyeongnam Beomsuk's House, Somangwon, Mideum's House, Happy Nursing Hospital, Changwon Municipal Nursing Hospital, and Ewha Nursing Hospital.

Park Hyodo, the head of the cooperative, said, “It is meaningful to share warmth with neighbors who might otherwise be neglected through the kimchi made with the sincerity of the executives, employees, and members of the Housewives University Alumni Association,” and added, “We will continue a happy journey together with farmers and the local community.”
