The Ulju Food Bank Market is a user-centered free market that receives donations of food and daily necessities from companies and individuals for households in need within Ulju-gun, allowing users to visit the store and select the items they need. The donated amount of 30 million KRW will be used to support about 300 underprivileged neighbors in the Namulju area, including Onsan and Onyang, such as marginalized groups, low-income families, elderly living alone, and multi-child families, by providing necessary food and daily necessities.

An S-OIL representative who attended the plaque ceremony stated, “S-OIL will continue to maintain steady interest in low-income families and marginalized groups in the region and will persistently promote support for vulnerable groups in Namulju, including Onsan and Onyang.”

S-OIL has been conducting projects for over 20 years that purchase local agricultural products such as rice and pears to support vulnerable groups. It also carries out various community projects, including scholarship programs for local students, summer seasonal kimchi sharing volunteer activities, and packaging agricultural and marine product bundles to deliver to underprivileged neighbors in the region.
