Operated by nine professors' spouses from Samyuk University, Samyuk Sarang Shop donates all profits generated from selling items sponsored by various sectors as scholarship funds. The recipients are foreign international students who fall into blind spots of various welfare benefits such as national scholarships and national health insurance.

Starting in 2020, Samyuk Sarang Shop supported 13 students with 13.5 million KRW for tuition and living expenses, followed by 40 million KRW for 25 students in 2021, and 74 million KRW for 60 students in 2022. To date, 120 foreign international students have received a total of 200 million KRW in scholarship benefits.

Dr. Eliazar Alumbro Peniton Jr, who studied in the Department of Convergence Science at Samyuk University Graduate School and received a scholarship from Samyuk Sarang Shop, was appointed last year as an assistant professor in the Department of Biology at Mountain View College in his home country, the Philippines.

Another scholarship recipient, Dr. Enkhtaivan Tsolmonbayar from Samyuk University Graduate School of Theology, became the first Mongolian to earn a Ph.D. in Adventist theology and is currently serving as a pastor in his home country.

They have supported rehabilitation treatment costs for a newborn baby born to a Vietnamese international student, and also provided emergency tuition support when a Mongolian student, who had struggled to prepare tuition fees, sent the money for his father's surgery and faced visa cancellation.

Kwon Youngsoon, president of Samyuk Sarang Shop, said, "When I read the thank-you letters sent by the scholarship students, I see that they volunteer at bazaars without feeling the cold winter hardships. It is rewarding and grateful to be able to provide immediate help when they are in the most difficult times. I hope the international students complete their studies well at Samyuk University and return to their home countries to grow into outstanding workers."
