Export Value More Than Doubled in One Year
Expanding K-Content Export Paths with FAST Platform Operation and AI Technology
Distribution Area Expands from Channel to Platform Level

New ID, an in-house venture of content media group NEW (Next Entertainment World) led by CEO Park Jun-kyung, announced on the 6th that it received the $2 million Export Tower award in celebration of the 60th Trade Day hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea International Trade Association. It is the only digital content and platform distribution company to receive the award this year. Following last year's $1 million Export Tower award, the company achieved more than double the export performance.

New ID Receives '2 Million Dollar Export Tower' Award for K-Content Distribution Success

New ID is a leading FAST (Free Ad-Supported TV) operator representing Asia. Based on its success in expanding the distribution network of K-content in the overseas digital media market from July last year to June this year, it received the $2 million Export Tower award. The company operates over 200 FAST channels targeting more than 100 million CTV (Connected TV) households worldwide. It has expanded into 2 countries in North America, 11 in South America, 18 in Europe, 2 in Asia, and 1 in Oceania. The overseas sales proportions are ranked in order of North America, Europe, South America, and Asia.

To meet the international content distribution standards required by global platforms, New ID utilizes AI post-production technology to provide post-processing solutions such as removing unnecessary on-screen subtitles, replacing copyrighted music, and improving image quality. Last summer, it directly launched ‘Binge Korea,’ the first K-content specialized FAST platform, in North America. This expanded the unit of content distribution from channels to platforms.

Park Jun-kyung, CEO of New ID, said, “We are very proud to have grown more than twice compared to last year in the North American, South American, and European FAST markets, which were once barren lands for Korean content. Based on our proprietary technology, we will continue to expand a global distribution network that can proactively monetize IP value in the Asian region.”
