No Seung-kwon (58), former Daegu District Prosecutor General, declared on the 6th that he will run for the National Assembly in Jung and Nam districts of Daegu.

On the morning of the same day, No held a press conference at the Daegu City Party Office of the People Power Party in Beomeo-dong, Suseong-gu, Daegu, stating, "Currently, Daegu and Jungnam-gu are seeking a strong new figure with dynamism, practical ability, and driving force," and added, "With the conviction and philosophy that changing politics can make people's lives happier, I will now devote the final part of my life to the creativity, innovation, and change of my hometown, Jungnam-gu, Daegu."

No Seung-kwon, former Daegu District Prosecutor, is declaring his candidacy for the National Assembly.

He continued, "This National Assembly election is not simply an election to choose a member of the National Assembly, but an election to thoroughly judge the major opposition party that wastes time opposing the Yoon administration and opposes for the sake of opposition, and to protect the Yoon administration," and said, "I will play a key role in the success of the Yoon Seok-yeol government."

No graduated from Daegu Simin High School and Seoul National University Law School, passed the bar exam, and has served as Deputy Chief Prosecutor of Busan District Prosecutors' Office, Chief Prosecutor of Seongnam Branch of Suwon District Prosecutors' Office, Daegu District Prosecutor General, and Deputy Director of the Judicial Research and Training Institute. He is currently working as a lawyer at the law firm Bae, Kim & Lee LLC.
