Over 30 Participants from 6 Countries Experience Busan Regional Tourism, Trade, and International Cooperation Programs
The CAMPUS Asia AIMS Project Group at Pukyong National University (Director Park Sang-hyun) recently held the ASEAN University Students Invitation Joint Curriculum "Busan and ASEAN A to Z."
Students participating in the joint curriculum 'Busan and ASEAN A to Z' of the AIMES Project Group at Pukyong National University are visiting Nurimaru APEC House and taking a commemorative photo.
This program, conducted by Pukyong National University in collaboration with Yonsei University Future Campus and Hannam University to cultivate talent in tourism, trade, and international development cooperation, was attended by over 30 university students from six countries including Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
On the 24th and 25th, participants explored the Busan ASEAN Culture Center, APEC House, Suyeongman Yacht Stadium, and Yeongdo, experiencing tourism programs linked to Busan's tourism industry and social enterprises, as well as social economy and fair travel, while engaging in exchange activities.
The CAMPUS Asia AIMS project is a Ministry of Education-supported initiative aimed at fostering educational revitalization and establishing a foundation for cooperation between Korea and ASEAN countries.
Since being selected for the second cycle of the project in 2021 following 2019, Pukyong National University has been operating specialized programs in the Department of International Development Cooperation and the Department of International Studies, cultivating talent in Korea-ASEAN language and culture-based tourism, trade, and international development cooperation.
