Com2us announced on the 6th that its subsidiary Com2usRoca's virtual reality (VR) game, "Dark Sword: Battle Eternity" (hereinafter referred to as "Dark Sword"), will be released on the global PC platform Steam on the 18th, Korea time.
"Dark Sword" is the first work of Com2usRoca, Com2us's VR game specialist developer. It is an action role-playing game (RPG) based on a dark fantasy worldview. It features top-level VR game graphics and offers a variety of actions and interactions such as swinging, blocking, dodging, and archery, providing an experience similar to real combat.
Steam is the world's largest PC game platform with over 1 billion registered users. It operates "Steam VR," a dedicated platform for PC VR games where "Dark Sword" will be launched. It supports high-performance VR headsets that connect to PCs, including Meta and PICO devices as well as Valve Index, thus having a broader VR user base.
"Dark Sword" was released this year as a standalone title on global VR device specialist companies such as Meta and PICO, making its mark in major VR content markets worldwide. Com2usRoca plans to expand the market by broadening the supported platforms and securing new user groups with the upcoming Steam VR release of "Dark Sword."
Along with announcing the Steam release date of "Dark Sword," Com2usRoca also opened the Steam store page. It is participating in the "Steam VR Fest," held on the official Steam website until the 11th, introducing "Dark Sword" as an upcoming release.
