Hong Byeong-ho, Head of Management Support at Daedong Hospital, Receives Busan City Hospital Association Chairman Award

Daedong Hospital (Director Lee Kwang-jae) announced that on the 5th at 6 p.m., Hong Byung-ho, Head of the Management Support Department, received the Busan Hospital Association President’s Award at the 2023 Expanded Board Meeting and Gathering hosted by the Busan Hospital Association (President Kim Cheol) held in the Emerald Room on the 41st floor of Lotte Hotel Seomyeon.

Marking the conclusion of the Busan Hospital Association’s activities in 2023 and serving as a year-end gathering, this event featured a seminar prior to the awards ceremony with topics including ▲Changes in the Healthcare Paradigm ? Is Digital Transformation of Hospitals Inevitable or Optional? (Kim Kwang-jun, Director of the Information Security Center at Yonsei Medical Center / Professor of Geriatrics at Yonsei University Severance Hospital) and ▲Busan City Bed Supply and Management Plan (Jo Gyu-yul, Director of Busan City Health and Hygiene Division).

Following the seminar, at the awards ceremony, Hong Byung-ho, Head of Management Support Department at Daedong Hospital, Heo Soo-tae, Deputy Director of Administration at Yeongdo Hospital, and Kim Jung-hoon, Senior Nurse at Busan Bumin Hospital, were commended.

Hong Byung-ho, who has been serving in the Management Support Department at Daedong Hospital since 2017, was recognized for his dedicated volunteer spirit and sense of duty that contributed to the hospital’s growth and the development of the local medical community. The event was attended by Daedong Hospital Director Lee Kwang-jae, Busan Hospital Association Advisor Park Kyung-hwan, and other executives and staff who presented congratulatory flower bouquets.

At the awards ceremony, Hong Byung-ho expressed, “I am grateful just to have been able to contribute to the growth of Daedong Hospital, which has a long history and tradition since its opening in 1945, as a member of its staff. I believe this award represents the efforts of hospital administration professionals who have worked behind the scenes for the hospital’s development, and I will continue to repay this honor by working humbly and diligently based on fairness to advance the hospital.”

Hong Byung-ho has served as Vice President of the Busan Branch of the Korean Hospital Administrators Association, striving to improve regional hospital administration and strengthen competitiveness, and was recognized for his contributions with the Association President’s Award in 2022.
