"Flying from Busan to Taiwan" Jin Air Launches New Busan-Taipei Route

Daily Departure at 2:10 PM from Gimhae Airport

Jin Air announced on the 6th that it has launched a new route between Busan and Taipei. Park Byung-ryul, CEO of Jin Air, and company executives attended the inaugural flight ceremony.


The first flight, LJ737, recorded a 99% occupancy rate. To commemorate the new route, Jin Air presented passengers with souvenirs such as transportation cards usable locally and one-way exchange tickets for the airport railroad.


The flight schedule departs daily from Busan Gimhae Airport at 2:10 PM, arriving at the local airport approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes later. The return flight departs from Taiwan Taoyuan Airport at 5:00 PM local time, with a flight time of about 1 hour and 55 minutes to Gimhae Airport.


A B737-800 aircraft with 189 seats is deployed on this route. Passengers are provided with a complimentary checked baggage service (15 kg) as standard. Jin Air operates a total of three Taiwan routes from Incheon, Daegu, and Busan.


A Jin Air official stated, "We expect the convenience for travelers departing from Busan to Taiwan to improve with this new route," adding, "As the number of tourists visiting Korea from Taiwan increases, we will enhance customer satisfaction through convenient flight schedules and safe services."
