Song Seungjae, CEO of Life Semantics, Receives Commendation from the Speaker of the National Assembly

Recognized for Contributions to Medical Digital Transformation

LifeSemantics announced on the 6th that CEO Song Seung-jae received a commendation from the Speaker of the National Assembly at the 'Venture of the Year' event held on the 5th at EL Tower in Yangjae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul.

LifeSemantics explained that CEO Song was recognized for his contributions to advancing the digital transformation of the domestic healthcare industry and received the commendation. He formed the 'Digital Healthcare Policy Committee' within the Korea Venture Business Association, a regulatory industry sector, and served as the chairman, playing a role in establishing policy foundations and improving regulations. He was acknowledged for his efforts to contribute to public health promotion and to resolve medical blind spots and national industrial development by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and digital healthcare technologies.

Founded by CEO Song Seung-jae in 2012, LifeSemantics is conducting various businesses based on the personal health record (PHR) commercialization platform 'LifeRecord.' In particular, the non-face-to-face medical service 'DoctorCall' is the first domestic non-face-to-face medical platform to receive private regulatory sandbox approval in 2020, providing services to overseas Koreans as well as domestic residents.

Additionally, through the government-led AI-based precision medical solution DoctorAnswer 1.0, they developed software for prostate cancer staging and recurrence prediction, and by participating in DoctorAnswer 2.0, they have entered the final stages of clinical trials for four medical AI software solutions in the fields of skin diseases and hypertension.

CEO Song stated, "Receiving this commendation from the Speaker of the National Assembly for our company's achievements in technology-based startups and business operations holds great significance for the venture business sector with its own technological innovation."
