Isomi's Fierce 7-Under Par... 'Top Pass GO' Lee So-mi

On the 4th (local time), Lee So-mi surged to a tie for 2nd place (18-under 268) by shooting 7-under in the 4th round of the LPGA Tour Qualifying (Q) Series held at Magnolia Grove Golf Course (par 72) in Mobile, Alabama, USA. The Q Series consists of 72 holes over 4 rounds, cutting the field in half. By June 6, after completing 2 more rounds (36 holes), the players who will advance to next season’s LPGA Tour will be decided. The top 20 players will earn LPGA Tour cards for next year. Those ranked 21st to 45th will receive conditional status on the LPGA Tour and eligibility to play on the Epson (2nd tier) Tour.

Yoshida Yuri and Saigo Mao (both from Japan) joined the tie for 2nd place group. Robin Choi is an Australian Korean with Korean parents. She debuted on the LPGA Tour in 2019 and has experience playing in 12 tournaments. Korea’s ‘Match Queen’ Sung Yu-jin is tied for 5th (14-under 272), while leading winner Im Jin-hee and Jang Hyo-jun are tied for 8th (13-under 273). Hong Jeong-min also advanced to the 5th round, sitting tied for 40th (6-under 280).
