Kim Hyun-gi, Chairperson of Seoul Metropolitan Council, Donates 2023 Love Fruit Neighborly Love Fundraising Money

Kim Hyun-gi, Chairman of the Seoul Metropolitan Council, held the 2023 Fruit of Love Donation Ceremony on the 4th and delivered donations for neighborly love.

The Fruit of Love conducts the annual fundraising campaign called the 'Hope Sharing Campaign' from December to January to help neighbors in need around us. The collected donations are used for emergency support for families in crisis, social care support, and community safety support.

Chairman Kim said, "The reason we can safely get through another year is thanks to the Fruit of Love Community Chest of Korea, which always works hard for neighbors in need," adding, "I hope that through these donations, the neighbors facing difficulties around us can have a warm winter."

Chairman Kim also stated, "The citizen-perceived economy is expected to remain difficult next year," and said, "The Seoul Metropolitan Council will carry out legislative activities closely connected to citizens' lives on the ground to protect people's livelihoods."

Attending the donation ceremony were Vice Chairman Nam Chang-jin, Director of the Council Secretariat Kim Yong-seok, Chairman of the Seoul Community Chest of Korea Kim Jae-rok, and Secretariat Director Shin Hye-young.
