The Gyeongbuk Yeongyang-gun Multicultural Family Support Center (Director Lee Seonjeong) held the 2023 Yeongyang-gun Multicultural Family Support Center Project Performance Report Meeting on the morning of the 5th at 10 a.m. in the auditorium on the 2nd floor of the Yeongyang-gun Comprehensive Welfare Center, with over 200 multicultural families and organizations from Yeongyang-gun in attendance.

This project report meeting was an occasion to share the achievements of the projects carried out throughout the year and to encourage the stakeholders. Various programs were conducted, including a pre-event exhibition viewing, awards for active participation in Korean language education, watching a performance report video, and a talent show by multicultural families.
Additionally, the Yeongyang-gun Multicultural Family Support Center was selected for the POSCO 1% Sharing Foundation public project this year and received the National Best Institution Award. Wang Pengxi and Won Hayoung, who received the Encouragement Award in the excellent case essay category, also presented their essays.
Yoon Yujin (Vietnam), a member of the Multicultural Family Steering Committee who participated in the event, said, “It was truly an enjoyable and meaningful time to relieve the frustration of only indoor activities due to COVID-19 and to spend time with other families after a long time.”
County Governor Oh Dochang said, “Through this project performance report meeting, I hope the intimacy and bonds among multicultural families will be strengthened, and above all, we will continue to support various projects so that all families can build healthier homes.”
