Pohang City is making efforts to promote action guidelines so that citizens can respond quickly in preparation for natural disasters such as earthquakes.

When concerns among citizens grew due to the Gyeongju earthquake that occurred on the 30th of last month, the city urgently distributed the "Action Guidelines Poster for Each Situation During an Earthquake" and the booklet "Earthquake Stories to Prepare and Know in Advance" to all departments, district offices, and eup/myeon/dong offices.

In addition, the city is promoting earthquake action guidelines on the Pohang City website to make it easily accessible to citizens.

A Pohang City official stated, “Since earthquakes occur suddenly, it is difficult to make appropriate decisions due to panic,” and added, “We ask for the citizens’ great interest so that they can accurately learn the action guidelines in advance and respond quickly in emergency situations.”
