A huge tree pierced through the windshield and seats of a vehicle in Australia, yet the people inside miraculously survived, drawing attention.

Fraser Island, home to Lake McKenzie, is the largest sand island and is designated as a World Heritage site, attracting many tourists. However, shortly before the students’ trip, a storm swept through the area, and a tree uprooted by strong winds fell onto the car they were riding in.

Photos taken immediately after the accident show a large branch of the tree piercing through the car’s windshield and the front passenger seat headrest. The accident damaged the side mirror and shattered the driver’s side front windshield.

However, none of the students, including the driver, were injured. The girl sitting in the front passenger seat quickly ducked when she saw the tree falling, narrowly saving her life.

After the accident, an Australian student volunteer group was the first to arrive at the scene to manage the situation and assist those inside the vehicle.

Andy Gully, coordinator of the volunteer group 'Red Frogs,' who arrived first to help with the accident, explained in an interview, "The vehicle didn’t see the fallen tree as it turned the corner. The tree pierced through the vehicle in an instant."

After managing the accident scene, forest rangers used a tractor to remove the tree and took the girls to the emergency room for examination. The nearby Kingfisher Bay Resort provided accommodation for the girls that night.

The girls in the car reportedly regained their composure after the accident was handled and enjoyed the remainder of their trip.
