Choi Hogwon, Yeongdeungpo-gu Mayor, Attends Salvation Army Charity Kettle Opening Ceremony

Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District Office, is ringing the bell at the '2023 Salvation Army Charity Kettle Opening Ceremony' held at Yeongdeungpo Times Square Plaza on the afternoon of the 1st.

This event was organized by the Salvation Army Yeongdeungpo Church to announce the start of the Salvation Army Charity Kettle fundraising and to encourage sharing for neighbors in need.

The Salvation Army Charity Kettle fundraising campaign will take place at over 330 locations nationwide throughout December. The opening ceremony proceeded in the order of ▲pre-ceremony performance ▲opening remarks ▲greetings and congratulatory speeches ▲declaration of the start ▲bell ringing and fundraising.

Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District Office, said, “On the first day of December, the sound of the bell delivering love and hope to neighbors in need resonated widely,” adding, “I hope that with warm hands of kindness, the Salvation Army Charity Kettle will boil vigorously and Yeongdeungpo will become warmer than ever.”
