Cheongsong County set the 2024 administrative direction as "Together with the citizens, a prosperous Cheongsong for all," aiming to transform the lives of its residents. The budget was organized at 474.5 billion KRW, an increase of 1.8% compared to the initial 2023 budget, to lead changes in agricultural policies, create a welfare Cheongsong where everyone is happy, foster a prosperous local economy, increase population through culture and tourism, and establish a convenient and safe urban environment.

By sector, 104.4 billion KRW was allocated to agriculture; 108.8 billion KRW to education, social welfare, and health; 56 billion KRW to environmental areas such as water supply and sewage; 36.2 billion KRW to culture and tourism; and 72.4 billion KRW to public safety, regional development, and industry.

The sector with the largest increase compared to 2023 is industry and energy, including projects such as the "Jinbo-myeon LPG Pipeline Construction Project" to establish a gas supply system, the "Renewable Energy Convergence Support Project" to expand renewable energy distribution, the "Hyeonseo and Andeok-myeon Green New Deal Underground Power Line Project" to create a pleasant urban environment, and the "Cheongsong Love Currency Project" to promote local consumption.

Governor Yoon Kyung-hee stated, "Due to the decrease in national tax revenue, the government is adjusting expenditure structures by reducing spending, and a decrease in local government revenue such as local allocation tax is expected. However, we will do our best to revitalize the local economy by securing budgets through national and provincial funds and public contest projects, and support residents facing difficulties due to high inflation." She added, "Despite the challenging financial conditions, we will create a Cheongsong County where all citizens live well together by implementing agricultural policies that address climate change and labor shortages in agriculture, building a cultural tourism city that increases the resident population, and establishing a safe and livable urban environment."
