Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station Awards Plaque to Best Facility in 'Firefighting Training Competition'

Gwangsan Fire Station in Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 30th that it awarded the Excellence Plaque to Lotte Mart Cheomdan Branch, which was selected as the Best Sales Facility at the 'Related Personnel Fire Drill Competition.'

The event was hosted by the Gwangju Fire Headquarters and involved a total of 13 participants, including 5 nursing hospitals, 4 logistics warehouses, and 4 sales facilities.

It was organized to enhance the initial response capabilities of workers at disaster-vulnerable facilities during fires and to improve the initial response abilities of specific fire targets where large-scale damage is anticipated.

Lotte Mart Cheomdan Branch received excellent evaluations in categories such as ▲initial fire response capability ▲use of fire-fighting facilities ▲appropriateness of fire safety plans, and was selected as the Best Sales Facility.

Kim Young-il, Chief of Gwangsan Fire Station, said, “I hope this competition served as an opportunity to strengthen the initial response capabilities of related personnel and to raise awareness about fire drills and safety.”
