The Masan Fire Station of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam Province, held the inauguration and retirement ceremony for the captains and vice-captains of the Jindong-myeon Male and Female Volunteer Fire Brigades.
The ceremony, held on the 30th of last month, was attended by Lee Seon-jang, Chief of Masan Fire Station, firefighters, Kim Yi-geun, Chairman of Changwon City Council, Kang Yong-beom, Vice Chairman of Gyeongsangnam-do Council, Lee Cheon-su, Member of Changwon City Council, and Jeong Yeong-je, President of the Masan Male Volunteer Fire Brigade Association. The event proceeded with the presentation of plaques of appreciation and appointment letters, followed by a commemorative photo session.
Masan Fire Station held the inauguration and retirement ceremony for the captain and vice-captain of the male and female volunteer fire brigades in Jindong-myeon.
Retiring captains Park Seong-dae and Son Yeon-ja received plaques of appreciation for their dedicated efforts toward community development. Newly appointed captains Lee Sang-chil and Jang Eun-suk will lead the Jindong-myeon Male and Female Volunteer Fire Brigades for the next three years, working to promote a culture of safety within the community.
Additionally, Kim Jong-hyo and Son Gyeong-ae were inaugurated as vice-captains of the volunteer fire brigades.
Chief Lee stated, “I will do my best to work together with the volunteer firefighters to contribute to protecting the lives and property of our citizens.”
