On the 30th, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Talent Development Institute visited the Onyang-eup Good Local Children's Center in Ulju-gun and operated a joint science class program for local children.
This program is an experiential program where children at the local children's center assemble portable solar chargers themselves and charge their own phones, delivering the principles of electrical energy in a fun way.
On that day, along with the science class program, a foreign instructor from the KHNP Talent Development Institute introduced cases from countries with poor power conditions such as South Africa, providing a time to realize the importance of electricity.
On October 31, the KHNP Talent Development Institute also held a session to understand other countries' cultures with children from the Seosaeng Local Children's Center. On August 12, it conducted grade-specific customized education and special lectures for parents targeting about 120 local children and parents from 12 nearby children's centers.
Leveraging the characteristics of an educational institution, the KHNP Talent Development Institute plans to provide various educational programs that can instill dreams and hope in local children.
