GS The Fresh, 'Spain Pork Festival' Throughout December

GS The Fresh announced on the 1st that it will hold the 'Spain Pork Festival' throughout December, offering discounts of up to 40%.

This event was planned jointly by the Spanish White Pig Association (INTERPORC), the Spanish Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ICEX), and GS The Fresh to promote Spanish pork and alleviate the burden of high prices for consumers. GS Retail prepared for the event through preliminary meetings with the Spanish Commercial Office over the past four months and has prepared more than 150 tons of products. For the first week of the event, frozen rolled thinly sliced pork belly will be sold at up to 40% off when paying with GS PAY. Discounts will also apply to Spanish 2mm pork belly, neck slice 450g, Duroc flower pork belly 450g, and flower neck 450g.

Meanwhile, a commemorative ceremony was held the previous day at GS The Fresh Gwanak Branch, attended by Kwak Yong-gu, Head of the Super MD Division at GS Retail, Dario Saez, Spanish Economic and Commercial Counselor, and other officials. Yoon Hyo-soo, Head of the Livestock Team in the Super MD Division at GS Retail, said, "We are pleased to promote the excellence of high-quality Spanish pork and supply it to customers at affordable prices," adding, "We will continue to propose products that satisfy customers so that GS Retail and Spanish pork can achieve a win-win relationship."
