Ryugyeonggi Jungnang-gu Mayor, 2023 Meritorious Taxpayer Commendation

Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) awarded commendations on the 24th to four individuals and one corporation selected as the 2023 Jungnang-gu Meritorious Taxpayers.

This commendation ceremony was held to honor taxpayers who contributed to the stable financial management of the district by faithfully paying taxes without delinquency despite difficult economic conditions.

The district established the 'Meritorious Taxpayer Support Ordinance' last year to foster a sound tax culture where diligent taxpayers are respected, and selected the first meritorious taxpayers of Jungnang-gu this year.

The selected meritorious taxpayers receive benefits such as exemption from tax audits conducted by the district for three years, a commendation at the mayoral level, and one year of free parking fees at public and affiliated parking lots operated by the district.

At the commendation ceremony, Jungnang-gu Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi said, “I feel very reassured to have all of you who greatly support Jungnang-gu’s finances, and I am pleased to take this opportunity to express my gratitude. I hope you all take pride as the first meritorious taxpayers of Jungnang-gu.”
