Resolving Inconveniences and Questions When Using Communication Services
18 Short-Form Videos Uploaded Within 1 Minute... 36 Videos Planned by the End of This Year
LG Uplus announced on the 28th that its short-form series "Uplus Life Tips," which solves communication service-related questions in 30 seconds, is gaining popularity mainly among the MZ generation. "Uplus Life Tips" is content based on useful tips directly shared by customers and employees who experienced inconveniences and questions while using communication services. As "short-form" videos have become a new trend in video consumption, LG Uplus started producing content from August that delivers useful tips about communication services in a short and easy-to-understand format.

According to an internal survey of users, the highest viewership was among both male and female viewers aged 25 to 34. The most popular videos currently are "Tips for when a smartphone charges slowly," "How to get benefits from U+ membership partner companies you might have missed," and "Tips to extend your phone battery life." Going forward, LG Uplus plans to produce a total of 36 videos by the end of the year, including topics such as ▲how to set preferred channels on IPTV ▲how to shop cheaply using U+Kok ▲how to register a U+ membership card on Samsung Pay. Next year, the content scope will be expanded to cover a wider variety of subjects.
Kim Soon-hee, team leader of the Customer Value Innovation Content Team, who plans "Uplus Life Tips," said, "The number of customers and employees sharing ideas related to LG Uplus products and services is steadily increasing," and added, "We will continue to focus on video production to provide useful tips to MZ customers who enjoy short-form content."
