It was already known that the two are classmates from Hyundai High School (5th class), but this is the first time it has been revealed that they are close enough to have dinner together on a weekend evening.
Soon after, photos surfaced showing Minister Han and Lee standing in front of the restaurant, each holding shopping bags that seemed to contain food, looking at each other and smiling brightly, confirming they were actually together.
At the time, Minister Han wore a hooded sweatshirt with a cap, and Lee wore a thick winter coat, meeting in casual attire. They reportedly created a warm scene by signing autographs and responding to fans' photo requests.
After eyewitness accounts of them appeared on SNS, a netizen who visited the restaurant shared an anecdote saying that when they told Minister Han, "I see you are very busy these days on TV, but many people support you," he replied, "Thank you."

The two met around 6 p.m. that day, had dinner for about two hours, and then Minister Han reportedly got into Lee's car and left the place together.
Minister Han and Lee, both born in 1973, are classmates who graduated from Hyundai High School located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Hyundai High School is currently an autonomous private high school, but when they attended, it was a general high school. However, due to its location in the Gangnam 8 school district, the level of educational enthusiasm was high.
According to a report by Monthly Chosun, classmates who attended school with Minister Han said he was elected class president from the first semester of his first year in high school and consistently ranked 1st to 3rd in school exams. At that time, Lee Jung-jae studied in the 'arts class' during his senior year to major in art.
Lee rose to stardom in January 1995 through the SBS drama "Sandglass." That same year, Minister Han passed the bar exam.
It is unknown when the two, who took different paths, developed enough friendship to share a meal together.
Meanwhile, Lee appeared in the 2013 film "The Face Reader" playing the role of Prince Suyang, delivering the line, "Am I destined to be king?" Among Lee's fans, this is considered one of his iconic lines and has inspired numerous parodies.
