Creating a '2024 Regular Admission Success Strategy' with Songpa-gu

Songpa-gu (District Mayor Seo Gang-seok) announced that it will hold the ‘2024 Academic Year Regular Admission Preparation University Entrance Briefing Session’ and ‘1:1 College Admission Consulting’ to alleviate the concerns and anxieties of examinees and parents in the area who took the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) and to support successful regular admission strategies.

First, on December 12 at 6 p.m., the ‘2024 Academic Year Regular Admission Preparation University Entrance Briefing Session’ will be held at the Songpa-gu Office auditorium. Lee Kang-hyun, CEO of Lee Kang Academy in Daechi-dong, will be invited as a lecturer to provide an overall review of the CSAT and disclose strategies for applying through regular admissions.

The session will address topics such as ▲subject-by-subject analysis of the CSAT ▲analysis of successful cases from the 2023 academic year regular admissions ▲analysis of major university guidelines for regular admissions ▲application strategies by admission groups (Ganada groups) for regular admissions to resolve attendees’ questions.

Examinees or parents wishing to participate in the briefing session can apply in advance for free on the Songpa Run website by 12 p.m. on December 4. Participation is limited to the first 400 applicants.

Additionally, the district will operate intensive ‘1:1 College Admission Consulting for Regular Admission Preparation’ from December 11 to 23, after the release of the CSAT score reports, to provide accurate and practical application strategies based on the actual test scores of examinees.

Teachers from the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education’s Education Research and Information Institute College Admission Guidance Support Team and career and admission counseling experts will conduct the consultations directly. Through counseling, participants will be able to confirm universities they can apply to and receive help in establishing application strategies linked to their desired career paths.

The consultations are free for all examinees and parents. Applications can be submitted on the Songpa Run website by 12 p.m. on December 4, with a limit of 300 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. After applying, individual contact will be made to finalize the consultation schedule. Consultations will be held at the Songpa Run College Admission Learning Support Center and Head Center, with sessions lasting 50 minutes each during ▲weekdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8:40 p.m. and ▲Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5:40 p.m.
