Korea Investment & Securities, 12 Types of ELS Including Lizard Step-Down Type

Korea Investment & Securities, a subsidiary of Korea Financial Group, announced on the 24th that it will launch 12 types of Equity-Linked Securities (ELS).

True ELS Series 16654 is a 3-year maturity lizard step-down product based on the U.S. electric vehicle company Tesla. If the underlying asset has never fallen below 50% of the initial reference price, which is the lizard barrier, from the initial reference date to the early redemption evaluation date at 12 months (2nd), it pays an annual return of 19% and is redeemed. If the underlying asset is above 75% (6, 12, 18 months), 70% (24, 30 months), and 65% (maturity) of the initial reference price, it pays an annual return of 9.5% and is early redeemed.

True ELS Series 16652 is a 3-year maturity step-down product based on U.S. semiconductor companies AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) and NVIDIA. Early redemption is determined every 6 months, and if both underlying assets are above 75% (6, 12, 18 months), 70% (24 months), 65% (30 months), and 60% (maturity) of the initial reference price, it pays an annual return of 10% and is early redeemed.

Even if the early redemption conditions are not met, if there are no underlying assets that have fallen below 38% and 35% of the initial reference price during the investment period, the contracted return is paid at maturity. If the underlying assets fall below the reference levels, losses ranging from 35% to 100% and 40% to 100% of the principal may occur, respectively.

The subscription period for individual investors is until the 24th. According to the investor cooling-off system, there will be a cooling-off period from the 27th to the 28th, and investors can confirm their subscription intention from the 29th to 10 a.m. on the 30th.
