"Embracing Cultural Spaces Amid Abundant Greenery"... 'Public Gasan' Showcases the Evolution of Jisan

42% of Total Land Area is Green Space
100% Pre-Sold Before Completion Due to Word of Mouth

The knowledge industry center, once regarded as a factory-style apartment complex, is evolving. It attracts people by creating abundant green spaces, beautiful landscaping, and diverse community facilities. This knowledge industry center naturally becomes a landmark in the area, drawing many companies to move in.

According to the construction industry on the 21st, Seoul's largest knowledge industry center, with a site area of about 30,000㎡ (9,130 pyeong), will be completed at the end of this month. It is 'Public Gasan' located in Gasan-dong, Geumcheon-gu.

Public Gasan consists of two office buildings and one residential building, as well as commercial spaces (business, retail, fitness, cultural assembly facilities), spanning from 5 basement floors to 27 above-ground floors, with a total floor area of about 250,000㎡ (78,000 pyeong).

Although it is not yet completed, it is already establishing itself as a landmark representing Geumcheon-gu. This is thanks to the diverse local community facilities within the abundant landscaping space. The 1,183 office units and 567 dormitory rooms have already been fully sold. In particular, the dormitories were sold out 100% within a week with a highest competition rate of 72:1.

According to the Building Act, if the site area exceeds 30,000㎡, only 15% or more of the total area needs to be landscaped, but Public Gasan has created green space covering 42% (12,537㎡) of the entire site. Including rooftop gardens, the green area is equivalent to the size of two soccer fields.

The green space is open at all times. On weekdays, tenants and nearby residents can rest, and on weekends, local residents can enjoy outings.

Public Gasan plans to provide visitors with various attractions and events by installing large works by world-renowned artists and large exhibition halls in the green space. It will also create shared lounges and meeting rooms to offer spaces where employees of tenant companies, residents, and visitors can interact.

A representative of Public Gasan said, “We have built an evolved knowledge industry center, Public Gasan, that will revitalize the local community by emphasizing green and cultural spaces,” adding, “The ultimate goal of Public Gasan is to harmonize with the region through green spaces and cultural spaces where exhibitions and performances can be enjoyed.”
