Yeongdeungpo-gu Holds '2024 Hope Ondol Warm Winter Campaign' Proclamation Ceremony

Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District Office, attended the '2024 Hope Ondol Warm Winter Campaign' proclamation ceremony held at the Yeongdeungpo District Office Annex Auditorium on the afternoon of the 17th and performed a Magic Tree performance.


The Hope Ondol Warm Winter Campaign will run from November 15, 2023, to February 14, 2024, with a fundraising target increased by 100 million KRW from the previous year to 2 billion KRW.


The proclamation ceremony was attended by about 80 people, including Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District Office, the Secretary-General of the Seoul Community Chest of Korea, the Chairman of the Yeongdeungpo District Social Welfare Council, and public ambassadors from 18 neighborhoods. The event included ▲project launch proclamation ▲appointment of public ambassadors from each neighborhood ▲donation ceremony of funds and goods from sponsoring companies ▲congratulatory performance by the district-run boys and girls choir ▲Magic Tree performance.


Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District Office, said, "Although it is a difficult time due to the economic downturn and soaring prices, I hope we can achieve good results again this year by coming together," and added, "I ask for much interest and participation in the fundraising campaign for the neighbors in need who are worried about getting through the winter."
