Pyeongtaek City Conducts 'Agricultural Production Environment Management and Safe Pesticide Use Education'

Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province will conduct the '2023 Agricultural Production Environment Management and Safe Pesticide Use Training' for local food producers on the 23rd at the Pyeongtaek Agricultural Technology Center's Rural Culture Experience Hall auditorium to promote the production of high-quality safe agricultural products and establish a sustainable agricultural production environment.

The city explained that this training was prepared to efficiently utilize scientific farming analysis services provided to local farmers, such as soil, livestock manure compost and liquid fertilizer, agricultural product pesticide residue, and heavy metal testing.

The training consists of topics including the use of beneficial microorganisms, agricultural application of soil fertilization prescriptions, and safe pesticide use education based on cases of pesticide residue non-compliance.

Participants in this training will be recognized as having completed the Pyeongtaek local food producer education. Those interested can apply to the Pyeongtaek Local Food Foundation, and on-site registration is also available.
