Changwon Special City Selects 'Employee of the Month'

On the 17th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam awarded employees who achieved remarkable results in promoting major city policies through proactive efforts and outstanding expertise as the ‘Employee of the Month’ at the city hall policy meeting room.


A total of four teams (members) received the honor. The ‘Lifelong Education Division School Support Team’ strengthened the management of education expense subsidy projects, re-examined the 2024 Changwon City education expense support system, and actively promoted the establishment of new schools in the Jinhae area to improve the educational environment.

The ‘Bongnim-dong General Affairs Team’ resolved noise complaints from a major local civil complaint source, Bongnim Gateball Court, through branch integration and contributed to budget savings including operating expenses.


The ‘Environmental Policy Division Environmental Education Team’ worked to designate the city as an Environmental Education City by the Ministry of Environment, achieving final selection, which led to prioritized national funding support related to environmental education and enhanced the city’s brand status.


‘Kim Hyun-su, Officer of the Taxi Team in the Transportation Policy Division,’ improved transparency by automating the app meter combined surcharge and contributed to revitalizing taxi services through support projects for corporate taxi drivers.


The city awarded certificates of commendation to the respective employees, provided Changwon Love Gift Certificates as prizes, and granted an additional special leave day.


Mayor Hong Nam-pyo stated, “The passion and efforts of our employees are the foundation for Changwon to become a central city in Northeast Asia,” and added, “We will continue to discover and reward employees who achieve results.”
