Eunpyeong-gu, Recruitment of Participants for Public Job Projects in the First Half of 2024

Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that it will recruit participants for the "2024 First Half Public Job Project," a public job project for low-income and employment-vulnerable groups, for 11 days from the 20th to November 30th.


The total number of selected participants is 320, consisting of ▲229 for the Seoul Companion Job Project (supporting climate and environmental vulnerable groups, alley environment maintenance project, digital vulnerable support project, school zone traffic safety guards, etc.) and ▲91 for the Public Social Job Project (office environment maintenance and office work assistance, support for Eunmaru cafeteria and cafe, etc.).


Eligible participants are Eunpyeong-gu residents aged 18 or older with work ability as of the project start date, whose combined household assets (including cohabitants) are 469 million KRW or less, and whose income is 80% or less of the median income standard. Selection is based on the highest total weighted score according to various evaluation factors.


The wage is 9,860 KRW per hour, with support for the four major insurances, weekly holiday allowance, monthly leave allowance, and snack expenses. Those under 65 work 30 hours per week, and those 65 or older work 15 hours per week. However, working hours for each detailed project may be adjusted according to the characteristics of each workplace.


Residents who wish to apply should visit the local community service center of their registered address on weekdays with their ID and supporting documents for additional points, fill out the application form, and submit it.
