On the 16th (local time), he tied for 34th place (2-under 70) in the first round of the RSM Classic (total prize money $8.4 million) held at the Sea Island Resort Plantation Course (par 72, 7,060 yards) in St. Simons Island, Georgia, USA, recording 4 birdies and 2 bogeys. This tournament is the final event of the 2022-2023 season. This tournament alternates the 1st and 2nd rounds between the Plantation Course and the Seaside Course (par 70, 7,005 yards), with the 3rd and 4th rounds held on the Seaside Course.
