Various Job Experience Activities Helping Youth Find Dreams and Future
The Community Security Council of Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk (Public Chairman Kim Kwang-yeol, Private Chairman Lee Hee-won), specifically the Children and Youth Division and the Education and Culture & Leisure Division, jointly conducted a career aptitude test counseling and job experience activity at Korea Job World on November 11 for 18 local youths.
Yeongdeok County Senior Welfare Center, Youth Take a Field Trip to Korea Job World for Career Experience.
This experience was jointly organized by the two divisions to help youths, who are increasingly concerned about their careers, explore various occupational fields and design career tests and counseling tailored to themselves, fostering dreams and passion for choosing their future professions.
The participating students, ranging from 1st to 3rd grade middle schoolers in the area, experienced various workplaces such as the fire station, biotechnology research institute, court, space center, and broadcasting station at the Youth Experience Center. At the career design center, they obtained information about their abilities through a play-based career aptitude test, which helped them understand in which fields they have a higher chance of success.
Shin Hyun-hoo, head of the Children and Youth Division, stated, “I hope that the students who participated in this experience learned about their unique tendencies and personalities and that it became an opportunity for them to find suitable work and decide on a happy future career.”
