Shin Won-sik, Director of the Agricultural Life and Livestock Food Bureau, urged, "Cattle farms should enforce strict biosecurity measures until the 24th, when antibody immunity is expected to strengthen," and added, "If clinical symptoms are observed, please report immediately to the livestock quarantine officer."
Meanwhile, on the 8th, avian influenza (A/I, avian influenza) occurred at a farm in Gyehwa-myeon, Buan-gun, prompting enhanced quarantine measures including for highly pathogenic strains.
